Maya
This cottage embodies warmth and hospitality. Inspired by the sort of place that I would consider safe, I designed this space by including elemnts that I associate with comfort, such as a warm fireplace, soft lighting, plants, and books. The space has traces of life within, it feels at once alive and nostalgic, filled with picture frames of lost memories.
A special attention si devoted to the coloring of the space, where yellow, brown and orange dominate over the rest, bringing a feeling of lightness, warmth, familiarity and innocence. The presence of warm, dim light enhances this effect, coating the place with a sense of nostalgia.
