Camilla Tacchi is a bilingual Visual Effects, 3D Artist, and Animator, born in 2003 in Italy. She has previously lived in Shanghai, London, and Paris, where she now lives and works.
In 2026 she will graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art, Media, and Technology at The New School, Parsons Paris. In 2024 she studied abroad in the Computer Animation and Visual Effects course at London College of Communication, at the University of the Arts, London. In 2022 she graduated with maximum marks from the Marcello Malpighi Scientific High School, with specialized courses in Human Anatomy and Medical Practices, as well as advanced Physics, Science and Math classes.
Her work spans video and sound practices, including analog media, such as maquettes, illustrations, and installation art. The focus of her practice is the psychological analysis of human emotions, the exploration of universal themes in the human experience, and the implementation of narrative storytelling. As the audience approaches her work, an emotional reaction is provoked, causing an internal reflection. Her passion for sciences makes Physics and Neuroscience an integral part of her creative practice, informing her work with visuals and principles that she transforms into universally understandable themes.
Most recently she undertook an internship as a creative video maker for Felicie Eymard, a company of prints for fashion and decorative objects, working with 3D animation assets, video shooting and editing. In 2025 she started working as a Video Producer and Motion Designer for Invisible Collection, a luxury interior design company.
Currently she is working on her Thesis, an interactive video installation which explores the potential of neuroimaging at revealing private data, and how without privacy we could not have freedom. After graduation, she is looking to start a Masters in Visual Effects, and enter the professional world of film or advertising, working in video production.
